Boating Module-2 2009

Barrington River area, 10-13th April 2009

Members of our unit participated in this as a voluntarily private activity as civilians only. This was not an AAC sponsored or approved activity.

This activity involves 2x full days of whitewater kayaking on the Barrington River. It has both introductory rapids for beginners and intermediate rapids for the more experienced kayakers. All rapid were designated as level 1 or 2.

We have been been fortunate to be led and advised on these expeditions by Mr Donaldson, a Senior Sea Scout Instructor with 20+ years experience.
